Where love meets laughter, beautifully

Love is too exciting, too weird, and too wonderful to be squeezed into a tired old script. Every couple has a story that deserves to feel personal, real, and—let’s be honest—fun.

Your Celebrant, Unscripted

- Coffee order?
Hazelnut Oat Flatwhite - can you tell I’m a Aucklander?
- Favourite ceremony moment ever?
There was a wedding where I was the Celebrant, moved into the MC and then late into the evening was the Burlesque entertainment. Grandma Anne got the shock of her life.
- Most unusual/funny request from a couple?
Asked to officiate the wedding in full Marilyn Monroe getup.
- What’s playing as the couple walks down the aisle in your dream wedding?
Anything with a killer beat - its celebration time after the ceremony
- If you were a wedding cake, what flavour would you be?
I don’t have much of a sweet tooth - can we swap cake for a block of cheese?
- What’s your celebrant superpower?
I’m all about custom builds. Your quirks, your vibe, your way. That and I make people feel very at ease, be it you as a couple or weird uncle Steve on the day.
- What wedding cliché do you secretly love?
The first dance as a couple – sometimes awkward, sometimes magical, always photo-worthy.

Why I become a celebrant?

I became a celebrant because I wanted to create something refreshingly modern and authentic—an alternative to the cookie-cutter ceremonies we’ve all sat through. Love is too exciting, too weird, and too wonderful to be squeezed into a tired old script. Every couple has a story that deserves to feel personal, real, and—let’s be honest—fun.

Dee was an absolute dream! She outlined her process clearly from the get go and delivered. Dee was a great communicator from start to finish and her manner upon performing our ceremony was genuinely sincere and cheerful. A true professional, we would recommend her services to anyone.

My Celebrant Style

For me, being a celebrant is about honouring that uniqueness. It’s about making sure your ceremony feels like you, not a stock version of what someone thinks a wedding should be. Whether that means weaving in your quirks, your favourite adventures, or a line that will make your grandma blush—well, I’m here for it.

– Three words that best describe my vibe
Vibrant. Warm. Unforgettable.

– A random fun fact about me
My ears don’t match - and yes I was just born like that.

– What do I love most about weddings?
What I love most about weddings is the way they bring together a couple’s unique story with all the people who love them most—it’s pure magic watching that unfold. I adore the mix of laughter, tears, and those little unscripted moments that make every ceremony perfectly imperfect.

- What key ceremonies do I offer?

Legal Weddings, personalised ceremonies, Vow Renewal, LGBTQIA+ ceremonies, Themed weddings, Surprise weddings (for your guests) and MCing

- Any specialty or unique ceremony types?

Being a performer since 2014, there is no request to outlandish. Handfasting, family vows, a medieval wedding complete with maypole. I’ve done it all.
