Hand-Picked Celebrants Crafting Unforgettable Memories for Weddings in Auckland

Norma Schwenke Cortes
I like to add humour and fun and I like to make this day as stress free as possible for you and your partner.
I am a down-to-earth wedding celebrant based in Onehunga, I specialise in small, intimate weddings and I am available to couples who are looking for a low-key, personable celebrant who offers a zero-stress approach.
Your Celebrant, Unscripted
- Coffee order?
Double shot please, if it is Colombian: better.
- Favourite ceremony moment ever?
My first celebration was in a church with a minister who did not renew his license, so I started the wedding, and he finished it.
- Most unusual/funny request from a couple?
Perform the wedding in South Island and I live in Auckland (I traveled by plane, a driver waited for me at airport and left me in a little port, then I crossed to an island by water taxi and finally arrived in another car to the ceremony)
- What’s playing as the couple walks down the aisle in your dream wedding?
A romantic Spanish song
- If you were a wedding cake, what flavour would you be?
Red velvet because I love the color red.
- What’s your celebrant superpower?
I am a Spanish speaker and my smile, haha.
- What wedding cliché do you secretly love?
When the bride's father or mother gives her to her future husband/wife.
- Dream celebrity couple you’d love to marry?
Jacinda Arden and Clarke Gayford.
Why I become a celebrant?
— A Latin American couple asked me if I knew a celebrant who spoke Spanish. I did not, so they gave me a nice idea to do it for myself.
— What’s my ceremony style? totally personalized, including the story of the couple and some humor.
— Three words that best describe my vibe: Unique, happy and authentic.
— A random fun fact about me: I am from Chile, I live in Auckland and I celebrated weddings in South Island, Tauranga, Coromandel, Hamilton and Auckland. (in summary, I love traveling)
— What do I love most about weddings? Everything (preparation, vibes, music, love and food)
