Crafting relaxed, meaningful ceremonies that feel completely you.

As an Auckland celebrant, I’m here to make your ceremony feel personal, effortless, and unforgettable.  I’ll craft a ceremony that reflects you — your story and your style.

Couples describe me as calm, organised, and easy to talk to — someone who takes the time to get to know you, guides you through the legal steps, and creates a ceremony that feels genuine and joyful.

A long black - simple, strong and reliable.

Nothing is unusual when it comes to weddings! One couple asked me to include a certain word with a secret inside meaning, which turned into a fun little game for those in the know.
- What’s playing as the couple walks down the aisle in your dream wedding?
“Perfect Day” by Holley Maher - the “perfect” start to an beautiful day!
- If you were a wedding cake, what flavour would you be?
Passionfruit with buttercream icing, a classic with a zesty, modern twist. And amazingly delicious!
- What’s your celebrant superpower?
Helping you feel calm and present so you can focus on each other and soak up every moment of your ceremony.
- What wedding cliché do you secretly love?
Personalised vows, the heart of the ceremony and always the part that makes it truly unique to each couple.

Denzel and Pauletta Washington - they’re down-to-earth fun and have been married for over 40 years. a testament to love responsibility and joy - the kind of couple I’d be honoured to guide through their ceremony - and I love Denzels acting!

Why I become a celebrant?

Having been married for almost a decade, I know first-hand how powerful and meaningful a wedding ceremony can be. The moment when two people stand together, surrounded by those they love, and make that promise — it’s pure magic.

Becoming a celebrant felt like a natural way to combine my love of people, storytelling, and creating moments that feel calm and meaningful. I wanted to help couples feel relaxed and supported on their wedding day, knowing that someone genuinely cares about making their ceremony reflect them. Every couple has their own rhythm, history, and sense of humour — and I find it a privilege to bring those stories to life in such a personal way.

My Celebrant Style

Couples often describe my style as calm, genuine, and thoughtful. I bring a relaxed energy to the day, making sure everything runs smoothly while keeping the focus on the two of you. My goal is always to create a ceremony that feels authentically yours — whether that’s light-hearted and fun, sentimental and romantic, or somewhere in between.

I take great care in preparing each ceremony, crafting words that capture your connection and story in a way that feels natural and heartfelt. My approach is warm and personal — the kind of ceremony where everyone feels part of something special.
