Helping couples feel completely at ease. I guide you through every step — not just your vows, but what to say, where to stand, when to breathe. I provide a full, easy-to-follow script so you feel confident, supported, and ready for anything.
- What wedding cliché do you secretly love?
That moment when the bride walks down the aisle and the couple locks eyes — it gets me every single time. (Tissues are always in my bag!)

Why I become a celebrant?
Hi, I’m Melody, a registered celebrant, trilingual speaker, and someone who absolutely loves being part of a good love story.
I was born in Hong Kong and raised in New Zealand from the age of one, so I speak English, Mandarin, and conversational Cantonese. Weddings have always been a big part of my life, not only because both my parents are also celebrants (yes, it runs in the family!), but also because of my husband. He’s been a professional wedding photographer and videographer for over 13 years, and it was through helping him at weddings that I first fell in love with the industry.
My journey began as a wedding decorator, then I trained as a photographer myself. Over time, I naturally transitioned into planning and coordinating weddings, and finally found my calling as a celebrant and MC. With experience across almost every role on a wedding day, I know exactly how things flow and what’s needed to make your ceremony feel seamless, natural, and genuinely you.
To be honest, I sometimes get more excited about your wedding than you do! I love chatting with couples and helping with anything you might need, from planning timelines to calming last-minute nerves. I’m here to answer all your questions and make the whole experience feel easy and fun.
We cannot recommend The Timekeeper's Studio enough. They provide everything you could want and more, with very little planning (and therefore stress) required on your part - just one less thing to have to plan or worry about whilst organising a wedding or large event.
